TOO MUCH POWER When is power a good thing and when is it a bad thing? Where is the line? When do people cross the line? How much responsibility comes with power? How do people decide how to use this power? haha yikes that’s a lot of question but when reading Macbeth a lot of them come up when seeing how his character changes. He goes from a almost timid man who allows his wife to weigh in on decisions with him to a man who even goes behind his wives back when making decisions. This all happens because he is given more and more power. When looking at the quote by Lord Acton “Power corrupts, and is absolute power corrupts absolutely.”, it is very true with Macbeth.
